I always wanted to be a theoretical physicist like stephen hawking after I read his book brief history of time from the big bang to black holes when I was in 9th class but coming from a middle class background in India I had to find a stable career first to earn a livelihood pushing myself into the rat race. I choose to be doctor and gradually lost interest in physics. I also took PCMB in intermediate and later had to waste a drop year clearing meme entrance exam.
