In school, I used to be proud (maybe even a bit arrogant) because I spoke English really well. Perfect 10/10 grammar and accent, zero mistakes, did very well in English tests. This made me so arrogant that I never worked hard in other subjects and thus did poorly in math, science etc. Being the retard I was, I learned no lessons from my repeated academic failures and continued living with a sense of misguided superiority, and today I am poor and jobless making 15k working at a mall where I manage inventory. My English did me no benefits, and classmates who used to approach me for English lessons are today earning lakhs, living in foreign locations, driving nice cars, getting married while I'm wearing a Reliance Fresh jacket and writing down stock of wheat and rice in a notebook.

What proof do you want? My English is the outcome of my socio-economic background, nothing to do with my intelligence. Sadly it couldn't fetch me a good job or salary. And I'm supremely lazy plus I probably have undiagnosed ADD so I can't study hence I've failed every time I tried appearing for a sarkari job exam
