it's funny to see Karnatak and Andra Pradesh brahmins genetically mogging punjabis

Which is why its a retarded comparison. Compare average of south with all LCs included, rather than just cherrypicked brahmin groups, and you will have a vastly different ratio. Khatris are a punjabi caste and they score much higher steppe as shown in the table you posted.

If that was the case Jats would be brahmin they aren't. The phenotype and even genetics of NW india has been significantly altered because lots of steppe groups mixed with them way later.

Yadavs are not monolith, western up / haryanvi yadavs are very similar to jats and gujjars in those region while those in eastern region are more asiatic shifted.

I will leave this. The biggest misconception in Indic history and the stretch of application by geneticsjeet is getting corrected by multi disciplinary groups.
Yamnya etc. had some of the blonde features because the the brown north mesapotamia herders, farmers mixed with them carrying their knowledge and evenreligious beliefs there. Those groups split one went to upper caucas and other went to indo-iran. Many of them mixed also in likely did so which can explain even earlier wave of ancestry.
IVC was never stagnant, there was proper trade and it already had culture like vedics thanks to these migrants. IE Speaking civilization.

This is why dravidians are not 'abbos' rather they have different phenotype but darker skin tone. Way later mixing lead to more dominance of lighter skin tone but it's way after like 1000 bce with new steppe groups ingress and getting coopted by the likes of Guptas.
