Which has better prospects of growth. Usually the package you will get in next job depends on the package of the existing job so remember that.

What kind of job is it? All India or state?

btw

What matters is how quickly you are going to get promoted

Because 80k in a big city vs 65k in Lucknow is kind of the same, it's just an illusion that's in front of you

Unless you bring your lifestyle down to the level of Lucknow in Delhi, then it's going to make something

is it really that bad? or is it just a big city thing? i was a IT coolie in hyderabad last year and outside of my job everything was quite pleasant

>Usually the package you will get in next job depends on the package of the existing job so remember that

i think you missed reading "gobarmint". no such thing in these jobs. Anyway, the one in delhi has better promotions. But i have got this feeling that this extra money in delhi is tiny compared to the expense of living there

Funny that pajeetia is the only country where there is no big cost difference of living from dehat kinare towns and tier 1s. Only thing different is rent and if we compare same quality of locality and building it will almost cost the same. (Ha madrchod except bumbai and (auto-excised)lore)

Lucknow because the people are happier. It is growing massively, many young people moving to the city etc. When I visited Delhi everybody looked 46 and balding, and this was in the rich areas

price of food (vegetables, meat etc) in south is substantially more compared to north. Also, electricity in Bihar is very expensive and unstable compared to electricity in other parts of north India like Rajasthan, Haryana etc.

Still better than the Nepal side of the border tho

If you don't own a home in either location, lucknow is better since atleast you'll be able to buy a decent home. In Delhi your only choice will be noida and ghaziabad.

Your kids will have access to better opportunities in Delhi. In lucknow they'll have to move out after college.

Delhi people are assholes, lucknow ones are slightly better. Although delhi has better police, in UP during SP days police goes to shit.

where in Bihar do you live? In cities like Patna or Muzaffarpur power is stable (famously more than bangalore kek) but as you go northwards of Darbhanga/Muzaffarpur (or further east) power gets cut very frequently. Some villages barely get power for 5-6 hours a day and households have to rely on their own generators/power stations to keep themselves warm and lit the rest of the day
