Suggest me the good gnu/linux fork in year 2025.

Debian is plain the best, everything else is meme.

>Arch

Updates will reck your system some day.

>Gentoo

Unless you have a Nasa supercomputer it isn't feasible to compile everything yourself.

This does not seem any different from what they always did, why are you seething about it now and switching? Because a youtuber told you to?

Linux on laptops are trash, this is something loonix fags usually hides from you. To be honest, this isn't actually Linux's fault as most laptops are optimized to run Windows and Linux support is usually an afterthought. Chromebooks tend to be better because its sold with the device and usually optimized for the OS but I guess many freetards don't consider it Loonix even though its a customized gentoo linux(not sure if they changed it now as they are combining it with android in future). Unless you have an old laptop which can't run latest windows, I wouldn't recommend it for a normie.

If you are ready to accept worse battery, graphics card performance, etc... then I would recommend Linux Mint because its the most noob friendly distro. I don't think I even opened a terminal when I was using that distro.
