not 1995 but baap had access to it as he was a software engineer. iirc i used internet on a laptop first around 2010 through a tata docomo dongle then came 4g airtel dongle.

Same for me in 2000s. I used it's laggy as shit connection to play flash games and use orkut.
I remember being blown away when airtel let me watch videos without having to wait half an hour on buffering, so I used it to watch anime and got screamed at by my dad because the connection wasn't unlimited.
