What is this server?

It's a public survival multiplayer for Bharatchan frens hosted on Oracle cloud.

Join to make memories and monuments.

How to join?

1. Download a Launcher (Legacy Launcher or such, free folks)

2. Download the game version 1.16.5

3. Post the username you will be joining with here - an OP will whitelist you.

4. Enter the game and add the following server in the multiplayer menu:

141.148.214.12

5. The server is mostly always online. Play when you want.

Check the latest posts here, or just post here if you see nothing.

Rules?

1. No griefing: By reading this or posting inthis thread or by playing on the server, you acknowledge that any threats or acts of griefing imply that your mother was a harlot and you're a pan spitting insect cuckold.

Basically, don't be a feral monkey, or you get sariya treatment.

2. Build something/put some effort into a build if you want to explore and access/see more stuff. (If you're new)

3. Don't make lag/crash machines.

4. Have fun, do whatever you like without getting in the way of other players having fun or playing the game.

5. Don't post coords of anything you find. You can announce in the chat though.

It works, tested.

But even I'm creative, it's extremely hard to breed the perfect horse without cheats.

Vanilla gameplay makes it so that the baby can be worse than either parent.

On client side, install Horse stats so you can see the stats on riding the horse.

Make a wall around them, tall enough to not kill villagers from illager arrows or such. Light up the village inside the wall so zombies don't spawn.

Spawn a few iron golems inside and some just outside the walls.

That should do it.

I'll tell you the villages:

1. Your base/trading hall.

2. Iron farm (it's its own village, won't be secured but need to make stuff around to run into.

3. The town with the town hall/library/castle

4. Naturally spawned village behind the area where tunnel leads to Oniichan's place. (There are two, just secure the closest one for now)

Speaking of priority, just secure 1 and 3.

Removed sneaking, now just right click with shears to access inventory

This will also reduce the need of timing the sneak right, and no more instances of accidentally right clicking the crop instead of villager.

Fixed it

No problems now. Works pretty well.

Cannot believe that I finally made a full mod, huh.

Now, to make it for other minecraft versions, for forge and such and publish it to get good karma.

Beetroot is so overpowered that it makes even farmers breed huh.

Don't use the trapdoor design, use fence gates instead. Don't forget to place the hopper minecarts on rails under the fence gates.

(Rails are important because villagers avoid stepping on rails at all costs)

btw, don't get so frustrated and annoyed that you forget

1. You can attach lead to villagers to get them away.

2. Right click with shears to edit inventory. Don't place food (carrots, beetroot, potato, bread etc) in inventory of villagers you don't want to breed. Remove if they have any food.

No need to needlessly kill villagers and then go through the pains of getting them there again.

Also bred brown Mooshroom without using trident/lighting. Cannot breed villagers to be better though.

I have made a library with enchantments too.

You asked how to decorate houses.

It starts with planning.

You can use coloured wool or dirt or any cheap block to plan out your layout first.

Mix different shapes into the build so it's not a boring square.

You can then plan out rooms into the build after you have decided the shapes.

Also, it's a good idea to build small rather than a big structure so you can finish the build and see results early.

For circles, search for Minecraft circle generator and use one of those.

There are sphere generators too, but for spheres, just make circles around each other and fill in the blocks as you move up and down.

You can alternate planks and stripped logs for an interesting floor pattern.

Or sometimes you can even mix stones of different types for the floor.

You can imitate real life architecture for better builds. Since Minecraft is medieval in its tech and looks, search how medieval houses were built.

You can make the first floor with stone, and then make the second floor with wood or brick since they are lighter than stone, and so on.

This makes the build look believable and somehow also looks good.

You can use logs as support pillars or as beams to hold up the structure.

Sometimes you can even make some very slight overhangs on second floor onwards because that's how they did in medieval times.

Sometimes you run into troubles such as weird corners or angles because minecraft is based on blocks.

You can still use real world solutions to such problems.

For example, patch up awkward corners in for walls with towers.

Patch up awkward corners in houses with extensions etc.

Adding some artificial wear and tear to the walls can also make them look good.

Check out the castle and the silo.

Also, don't just build in isolation, think about how it will look along with rest of the build. If something stands out too much, either it is the focal point of the build, or an eyesore. Sometimes you have to tear down previous work just to make it look good.

The best part is you can have looks and functionality at the same time.

Today, the celestial gods granted me the idea for anothe Minecraft mod...

The enchanting table lets you enchant items right now using Lapis Lazuli

And using the grinding stone disenchants all items.

What if it allowed you to disenchant specific enchantments using something like redsone dust?

Better yet, what if you could store enchantments to a book using the enchanting table?

Would be fun. Well, maybe something that would be more useful before I started cheating and made the library.

Communication is now a subject now too. I enjoy it though kek. On first day of our comms class, the teacher invited us to come to the stage to gib speech. No one came forward. But I went ahead to give a speech prepared on the spot (literally 10 secs of preparation time) about the history of UNIX like operating systems. How they have progressed over the years, how they have turned out today. What their design and development philosophy is and shiet.
