Isn't bookselling the most relaxing job in the world?

The environment in a bookstore is so cozy. And you get to read whatever book you want! Isn't that just amazing?

I imagine bookselling to be a calm and peaceful job. Perhaps because the customers in a bookstore are more focused and engaged and are usually seeking specific titles.

Compare them with customers in a general store. Aren't they are much more complex to serve?

Pretty much every city in India with an "old part" has some pretty kino bookstores. They're not very big, sure, but still kino and insane value for your money.

No job is easy when you don't earn money.

And just like a general store has to Organize stuff in different racks, Keep track of which stuff are selling fast, And Order stuff from different distributers,

Book sellers too need to Organize books, Keep track, And contact different Distributors and publishers.

Though, I would say, It is one of the Silent or little noise job. No one's gonna shout in your ears. No need to even utter anything.

In books store you sell thousand of books on different rates. In general store you sell thousand of products to hundreds of customers and youy have to keep track of every little things prices. In book store there are only customers who want this or that book. In general store you have hundred customer with hundred different items in hundred different quantity. And I'm feeling like explaining things to a 10yr old.
