bros, am about to start college at university in the US (100% scholarship mila tha) now i have to choose. My parents don't care what I choose as long as I get some job in the next 5-10 years, but my relatives are pressuring them to tell me to choose engineering. this college also offers astronomy major along with maths, physics, cs, etc.
I am at a loss for what to choose here, I like the idea of doing CSE/ECE/Mechanical engineering but on the other hand since I was a kid I always liked physics/astronomy and shit. But the subject I always scored the highest in was maths for some reason.
What do?

Do something that the market pays while do what you are interested in, in your free time after you are employed. Otherwise you will be anally raped in the ass by unemployment.

Just do a double major, you can study astronomy with enginiqqering or whatever else you want.
And relatives can't do shit, mine came begging at my feet just a few years after they looked down on me for voluntarily choosing to do a BSc in Chemistry. If your parents are cool with what you do then that's all you need

gg bhai
electrical and electronics engineering are very heavy on both math and physics, and of course most relevant for aerospace applications too
pick ee / eecs / ece type majors
double majors can get super hectic so best to have one major and focus the rest of your time building fun shit and interning, that's the only way you learn
