This is what you get for using loonix
You should have created a bootable usb drive instead.
Dual booting always causes destruction.
Imagine using loonix when you have win
Install VScode retard and learn how to use powershell.
Stop learning boomercel obsolete languages like C, C++ or python, instead learn Go, Rust, Julia etc.

im considering using a bootable usb, i have a 64gb sandisk but im not sure if it's stable enough to run a whole os on it for long term use

debian can make partition automatically see above video
if you wanna install manually then go to arch
>>15381
>install gentoo
would not recommend this since this (by the way I am a nigger) had problem installing easiest distribution
fedora, linux mint, trisquel boot you into live cd then you can install it with simple next next next way
DE: kde is broken try Gnome, Mate, Cinammon or LXDE

you have really old laptop with shitty cpu processor try booting into arch see if it's connects you to wifi
else you can take out the wifi card clean it softly maybe it's hardware issue
sometime my laptop wifi card start showing errors in tty when i am in long gaming session
so thats the solution in given in stackoverflow but i leave my laptop powered of for long time and it get back to normal
>windows taking 10 mins to boot
how much time does your laptop take when you get the login prompt. if it takes 10 mins after you've entered the password then it's windows issue in much cases
>some devices like the wi-fi network card or touchpad won't work for both os
have you or someone else dropped the laptop
