NEET-PG isn't that important actually unless you want to become a specialist. Even if you get the seat the resident can just ... not teach you / let you do cases and you will never finish.

This does not happen. General seats can't compete with reserved. The other way can. If even 95000 rank candidate is not available to fill the vacancy then the situation of PG NEET is just pathetic. Nobody from the minority categories are there to join.
