You rarely get to see perspectives like these being portrayed in most mediums where it's about coping with rejection and whats it like to watch from the sideline because you don't always get to have what you wish in life and more often than not things don't revolve around you. Makeine balances slapstick comedy and just enough escapism and presents you a mirror just at the right time. For this alone it gets extra brownie points from me.
