it is one of the most famous VNs ever released. It's a very tender story imo. I mostly chose the Clannad VN over watching the anime because I wanted to get alternate endings with all the girls, plus, I feel the immersion is a lot more in a VN. You are actively making choices that all (even the small ones) influence the outcome of the story. It's one of the main reasons I barely watch new anime anymore, i think i've shifted to VNs for good
