>The concept of the IITs originated even before India gained independence in 1947. After the end of the Second World War and before India got independence, Sir Ardeshir Dalal from the Viceroy's Executive Council foresaw that the future prosperity of India would depend not so much on capital as on technology. He, therefore, proposed the setting up of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. >To man those laboratories, he persuaded the US government to offer hundreds of doctoral fellowships under the Technology Cooperation Mission (TCM) program. However realizing that such steps can not help in the long run for the development of India after it gains independence, he conceptualized institutes that would train such work forces in the country itself. This is believed to be the first conceptualization of IITs. >Dr. Humayun Kabir encouraged Dr. B. C. Roy, the chief minister of West Bengal to work on Sir Ardeshir's proposal for an IIT. >With the recommendations of the Sarkar committee in view and on the basis of blueprint made by L. S. Chandrakant, Biman Sen, and Sir J. C. Ghosh, the first Indian Institute of Technology was born in May, 1950 at the site of Hijli Detention Camp in Kharagpur, a town in eastern India. Same with ISRO which was brainchild of scientists from pre independence India, SK Mitra, CV Raman, Meghnand Saha, Vikram Sarabhai and Homi Bhabha with industrial contributions from Tatas. >Modern space research in India can be traced to the 1920s, when scientist S. K. Mitra conducted a series of experiments sounding the ionosphere through ground-based radio in Kolkata.[15] Later, Indian scientists like C. V. Raman and Meghnad Saha contributed to scientific principles applicable in space sciences.[15] After 1945, important developments were made in coordinated space research in India[15] by two scientists: Vikram Sarabhai, founder of the Physical Research Laboratory at Ahmedabad, and Homi Bhabha, who established the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in 1945.[15] Initial experiments in space sciences included the study of cosmic radiation, high-altitude and airborne testing, deep underground experimentation at the Kolar mines—one of the deepest mining sites in the world—and studies of the upper atmosphere.[16] These studies were done at research laboratories, universities, and independent locations.[16][17] As with everything, gandhi name was stamped and IT cell loves to give credit to gandhi over everything. I’ve made quite a few posts about life and how things are. I joke as to how annoying blogposting is but you lot seem to engage well with it. It’s really sweet to see it. For about the past 6 months Ive been doing better, probably closing in on a much better mental, physical and social experience than I ever was (although Ive been fine before too) Recently however maybe past 2 weeks or so I noticed something, very small and stupid but a strong effect on me. I started showering later in the night around 10, rather than doing it right as I wake up. Now, I mostly used to wake up about 30 minutes before my classes and day begins, its hectic and I can barely get a shower in, so everything's rushed, I never realized how much im losing out on though. Showering at night I started listening to music during the shower, which makes the whole experience pleasant, something to look forward to, and I also started maintaining my hair quite well, hairloss had already become negligible but now my hair gets curly and wavy due to the treatments and air drying I do. Since I get to manage myself, my hair and my body well, I wake up next day smelling great, and add perfume, I just sort my hair and since showering late at night makes me sleepy this has allowed more time for the gym, and other morning activities. But something much more peculiar has happened, showering early causes some sort of a wish to keep my room clean, my desk neat and closet arranged, I had to drudge through a large arrangement a while back but im maintaining it all quite well, I dont know why, I guess the feelings I get when I shower early open me up to the possibility of doing these tasks, and I did these all after a long days work. Nowadays my room is clean, Im clean and organised, this leads me to be more productive, this is the first time Ive taken a task list seriously. I think overall Ive somehow found a way to train consciousness, giving myself that headstart for the day and removing the dread of the morning shower, letting me ease into my night and quick into my morning has fixed mostly all sort of routine issues. I want to see how far it goes and how much I can keep it all up. So far ive fixed 1. Sleep 2. Showering and morning routine 3. Not missing requirements due to oversleeping 4. Gym has become more consistent I want to now focus on the gym, that would really make all of this so much better, and with the gym comes a better diet too. Quite pleased with everything and ready for better TL;DR Night-showers for the win
