Also she ceased to be a Brahmin the day she married a Mlechha. Brahmin is a title not an ethnicity. This girl should have used the gotra+caste to describe her mother if she still wants to claim her ethnic heritage. There are millions of Brahmins in Pakistan who converted into islam and lost their "Brahmin" status by becoming sheikhs, mughals, khans etc. The only thing such brahmin can claim is their ethnicity and ethnicity can only be claimed by telling their gotra like Allama Iqbal claimed that he is a Kashmiri Brahmin of 'xyz' gotra.
