Yes you are an anomaly. We are hardwired to have and raise an offspring with someone we share alleles with i.e. someone of same tribe/race. By having and raising child with someone genetically dissimilar a person of different race you invest your resources only on spreading half of your genes. If anything you harm your reproductive success as your offspring may compete with someone of your own ethnicity or your blood relatives for resources. The parent of a mixed race child is genetically closer to a random child of their own ethnicity than their very own children!
