Yeah I had the same phase when I was like 13 yo, back in mid 2010s, thing is humans are naturally tribal, that's how we evolved, we like to identify with in groups, but modernity has destroyed all real societies and cultures, so when such feelings develop inside us we try to quench this desperation by identifying with abstract unrelated things like modern state, religion etc.
But with time you realise your religion is a facade and the state doesn't love you.
