Jeets need to understand the era of scam office jobs is nearing its end.

I have said this before and will say this again, IITs aren't known for their education or reasearch, and they aren't le elite colleges by any foreign standards, 60% of the student body is from reserved category, half of the remaining 40% are just mindless grind Jeets, there is a reason why IITs rank so poorly on international rankings, no special or exceptional skills in Engineering are being imparted there.
And tbh it isn't about muh elite or not, corporations have finally realised that a lot of office jobs are just Bogus money sinks.
Also this "job got revoked later" isn't some rare thing, it is even more rampant in lower IITs, NITs etc, infact a lot of these offerings are straight up fake, few years ago Flipkart offered a 1Cr package at some IIT, which was later rescinded, later it was found out that whole thing was a publicity stunt.

Trvth is India has no use of these graduates, we have a shortage of quality technicians actually.
The whole IIT Brand and JEE coaching industry rests on few hundred International placements, which are then used for propaganda purposes.
In last 10 years Tech MNCs like Google, Microsoft etc have largely stopped hiring locally, and even international placements have dried up, back in 2021-22 many international placements got revoked.

Same thing happened to me. Not from IIT though. Placed for 7 lpa. Then got fucked. NEET ever since.

ironically NIT Trichy is doing far better than all old or new IITs. Their placement rate is in high 90s for UG and even 100% for some MTech programmes
