I'm sure they could've moved to another village/country and larped as Brahmins or Kshatriyas or at least Vaishyas.
There were poor, ugly and uneducated people in all these three varnas anyways. So what stopped the Shudras from larping like this?

They were too low iq and the only jobs that they could take up were the ones that no one wanted like disposing shit and stinky leather tanning. Their nigher behaviour also likely gave them away.

Even today settling in a different state is a difficult thing to do. Back then it was nearly impossible

learning rituals is a difficult task, plus you will be exposed if a inspection team arrived at your village.
The punishment will be death.
But still many dasyus managed to learn vedas/rituals from brahmins and started larping as high gotra brahmemes and married the daughters of real aryan brahmins and created dark skinned gods like krishna and gave them fair skinned wives to normalize interracial relationships.
