SEO is not and won't be dead anytime soon, one of my friends is making close to 12 LPA, having climbed the ranks of SEO manager. SEO should be dead because it's primarily the reason why their is so much irrelevant slop on the internet in the first place.

Idk why I have to write this but have you not google searched in years? Google now aggregates data for the normies. No one goes to website anymore. Since 2022 internet search traffic has reduced significantly. People are hooked on LLMs(chatgpt , gemini, grok etc)

Basically be the director of your own life and don't fall for memes and opinions being shoved onto you by people around you.
Don't do something that doesn't suit you at all, don't do something out of "but I need money!!" even if you're extremely good at it, just live your life as you really want to. But to find out what you like and what you don't like, you should've had a nourishing childhood and college experience which most of Indians don't really get, so you have to first experiment with few jobs and see it yourself. It's not something you can get simply by just reading.
I thought teaching would be an interesting field and a good match for me but then I realized I just hated almost every single thing about it.
Of course, some wagies are simply "stupid" enough to work in literally anything, get badges, certificates of appreciations, mugs, etc. and are perfectly aligned with the social roadmap that's laid out in front of them. I can't be like one of them.
