For most of the people who grew up as normie, messie was a default name when it comes to football - i am talking about 90s born.
Earlier gen proly talked about brazil greats like pele, maradona etc. Atleast that's what i recall being a boomer.

All these people I mentioned are proper football fans or atleast follow it. Carlsen and Kasparov are definitely proper invested football fans . I am 80% sure modi is a Barcelona fan, he mentioned the El classico being watched in india where Barcelona hammered Madrid 4-0 kek .
