You can find gorillion examples of governments allotting land to companies for almost free, including congress to adani, in return of investment.
Adani is indian government's more efficient arm.

Seethe against adani, except in some section of defense, is retarded. I will try to explain once again, one of the biggest issue with India had always been the scale of operation in every sector.
Our old elites like tata, reliance etc. are way too conservative in their approach and warry of any 'dirt' so they are not gonna take up any project which can cause issue for them. They play safe.
PSUs are way more inefficient.
What if we get a body which is more efficient and has scale, that's where adani comes in. You simply can't have scale of operation required without government backing, political backing - and Adani so far has been perfect.
His deep water sea port changed the game, in every sector the scale he provides is just amazing. Even in defense as much as i hate them, the ammo production facility of adani vs the psu is like heaven and earth difference. That's how goated is.

One of the biggest hurdle for companies is always land allotment, governments biggest contribution to industry is making this hurdle go away.
Some government will charge, most will pretty much allot lands for free.
