Lot of anons here dont even know how the H1B visa works.
Basically what happens is that companies in the USA are only allowed to hire foreign nationals, IF they DONT receive any applicants within the country.
So the companies cheat the system. What they do is instead of listing the role on linkedin like usual, they print the advert in some foreign language newspaper like georgian or albanian which nobody reads.
If nobody reads those ads, they receive zero applicants and then they can proceed to import cheap H1B pajeets to work as indentured labour for their companies while living in a shared condo with 10 other people like a bugman. HOWEVER, if even one person applies to that job which was posted in the obscure newspaper, then they cannot hire pajeets. Basically they need to prove to the government that hey "we could not satisfy our vacancies inside usa so we have to look outside" and this trick helps them do exactly that.
Now people are catching on and they are translating those job listings from those obscure sources and putting it on the internet, even if 1 person applies, even if they are underqualified, now the companies wont be able to get H1B wagies. There are more than enough graduates in america that their vacancies would be satisfied, its just that they would have worker rights and would need to be paid more so companies dont want that. Instead they want H1B pajeets who know that if they lose the job they are deported, so they will work for low salary and bad working conditions.

No, they dont, i just explained in the opening post why. There are huge number of american graduates that dont get jobs and are unemployed because of sleazy company tricks. There is most definitely not a labour shortage.

Nothing will happen, H1B is under Judiciary not executive, they will keep stalling until trump is out of power and the new government will then reverse his decision
