I considered doing that, but it's not like they can help me exactly. My parents are relatively poor. I beat myself up over sending this money to them but i was afraid if that would have put them in risk for debit fraud or something. Guess that did not work out well.

You are right, I should talk to some friends. I do not know what to do. Truth be told I have sent them many mails, and gave countless calls, I can not afford to take a flight. My corporate is not giving me any special leaves either, if I do that, i will have to use up my sick leaves and since the year started i only have two on me... It's just a shitty situation over all.

I know anon, I know, I have been cursing myself for not keeping atleast 1lakh in net amount in my locker. I live alone and I was scared. I have never had a problem like this. I could have never seen something like this happening to me. I was in denial for a week over this. Why did they have to freeze my entire account over a measly 2.5K? I looked this up on internet and found people have killed themself over less amount being frozen, and it made me even more sad.

I am trying sirs, but i dont have anything in me, nearly everything I had was in that account, so i never decentralised my money outside the one i would need to use on day to day basis.

They can't legally freeze the entire amount if you are not the main accused. Like you said, only ₹2500 is suspected to be part of illegal transactions. That means they can only legally put lien on ₹2500 not your entire bank account. You'll have to file application before the magistrate who has jurisdiction over the said station. The summoning only says "to account holder", it doesn't directly name me or anything. I think I am not a direct suspect or directly involved, even my bank manager said that money ended up coming to my account by circulating. This is utter bullshit to top it.
