Maithils usually like fish a lot, but unlike Bengalis we tend to only eat freshwater fish. I don't like most seafish besides the British ones (cod, haddock, salmon)
NW mein accha machli nahi milta, i've lived in chd, ggn and jaipur and only got good fish in jaipur out of all 3 cities. Amritsar might have good ones though
