Do you read books anons? This book titled "The Ministry for the Future" is a science fiction novel released in 2020 dealing with Climate Change and how it can be mitigated. There are crazy ideas like creating new glaciers by pumping ice from underneath the Antarctica, installing reflectors all over the planet, imposing taxes for doing activities which release Carbon into the atmosphere, giving incentives for pulling back Carbon, etcetera.
The first chapter of the book, you might find relevant. It is about an intense heatwave in the Northern region of India which has devastating consequences. I will be posting 10 images in this thread which will comprise the first chapter. Take your time to read and do share your opinions and partake in the discussions that follow.

I used to read a lot of books , but once you read a certain amount - you start to see similar patterns in all of them, and it becomes very boring.

Facts. When IQ < 85, the brain can't have an attention span of more than 15s, and it takes 600s to read through 10 little pages. Too much.

It is about the wet-bulb temperature, not ordinary temperature.
Wet bulb temperature above 35 degrees C is fatal, humans simply can't survive. Think why it feels so hot when humidity is high. Because you can't lower your bodies' temperature using evaporation.
Here are some calculations.
Temperature | Relative Humidity | Wet bulb Temperature
In degrees Celsius | In percentage | In degree Celsius
T | RH | WT
35 | 30 | 22.14
35 | 60 | 28.49
40 | 30 | 25.92
40 | 60 | 32.98
45 | 30 | 29.70
45 | 60 | 37.47 <-- Ded
50 | 30 | 33.47 <-- Dangerous
50 | 60 | 41.97 <-- Very Ded
It is all about the combination of Temperature and Relative Humidity, as you can see from the last two examples of (45,60) --> 37.47 and (50,30) --> 33.47

Meh novel
Read the deluge yaara you can feel the pain and dread in this novel in what the intensification of climate change can do to our everyday lives in gruesome realistic ways that the Ministry of the Future wouldn't dare to touch.
I read Ministry for the Future, the beginning is so good and you can felt the intensity and madness of it all, but it lost in fantasy hopium midway. Not even wars was accounted in this book, nor big societal changes, it's like a static world, which killed my mood reading it trought the end. Characters were gimmicky too

Conclusion
Even the largest nuclear bomb ever built is nowhere near powerful enough to blast a hole through the Himalayas. The number of bombs required would be in the thousands, leading to devastating environmental and geopolitical consequences.
A more realistic solution to extreme heatwaves would involve geoengineering, such as cloud seeding, reflective aerosols, or large-scale reforestation projects, rather than trying to reshape one of the world's largest mountain ranges with nuclear weapons.

I dunno why, but I strongly feel 2025 is the year of the heat wave, and it'll be worse than what is mentioned in TMotF. Only plus point is 20% de popul
