Xinjiang has oil, gas, minerals also it's the main route for their Belt & Road trade. Losing it is energy shortage + trade hit.
Tibet is where most of Asia's rivers start. If they lose control, they lose water power leverage over India.
Inner Mongolia is coal, rare earths, farming land. Big part of their energy and industrial base. If its Gone then full blackout mode.
Plus, foreign investors will dip if China looks unstable. Add military pressure on exposed borders means more money spent on defense, less on growth.
