Why did Protestants especially the British ones hate Catholicism this much? I have a vague idea that it has to do with Micks being Catholic, but didn’t they too have a Catholic past? And not to forget, Protestants of today might be the most chill soycuck people around.

Uk became Protestant cause Henry XIII wanted to divorce his wife but the catholic priests were not allowing it, so he turned against them and turned uk to protestantism.
