I started reading because of 4cuck /lit/ and fell for all their memes Moby Dick and such
Ever since 4cuck has been taken down i realised how much i miss /lit/ /g/ and /a/
But here are some books i read
Hamlet - Shakespeare 9/10
Brave New World 8/10
Ulysses 9/10
Filth of the Francis 10/10
These were just at the top my head but i haven't been able to read anything from last month but planning to read Greek Philosophy i think i am ready
Also which do you prefer ebooks or physical ones i own both and i really like physical ones but reading them in public place feels very pretentious and screams i want attention so i prefer ebooks

Much of 1984 is the him falling in love with a women and hiding their encounters from government.
You can tell george orwell was born in lundia by the way it happens. The woman just happens to like him one day, gives him a note and starts having sex with him.

I try to read inspite of my fucked up attention span, here’s what I’ve read recently:-
>No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai
Semi-autobiography of a chad having an incel soul, his relationships and his suicide attempts. Made me feel the shallowness of post-war Japan.
>The temple of the golden pavilion by Yukio Mishima
Honestly the reason I bought this was due to the fact the synopsis sounded “literally me”. A stutterer ugly teenager is obsessed with this beautiful temple. The obsession leads to destruction (of both the teen and the temple). Even though I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t call it depressing. It’s quite slow-paced in a peaceful way. Also my first Mishima book.
>Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse
Brother in allahs, this book is by far one of the best shit I’ve read. I’ll place it near the likes ofBhagavad Gita and Thus Spoke Zarathustra. This whole book felt like an acid-trip. It’s about this alienated intellectual in 1920s Germany. He believes he’s this wolf from the steppe who got stuck in this distant land. And he stumbles upon this mysterious woman. Like I can’t even summarise how crazy it is. It gave me a lot of messages on how to live my life.

I don’t like Orwell. Today itself I came to know this faggot gave a propaganda list to the United States government of people he suspected were USSR sympathiser. One of the people in this list was Charlie Chaplin.
Orwell wrote books as if he was some muh freedom of speech defender but irl he was just another white jerk.
Honestly Huxley’s Brave New World is a better dystopian book than 1984

Yes Ulysses is quite difficult to understand but if you are well read and can have concrete focus while you read you can understand it
If you want to up your reading game try /lit/ recommendations they actually helped get into reading although it destroyed my perspective on normalfags i absolutely despise being around people now
I found this image couldn't find others but i have many which i collected through years I'll be sharing if the thread stays up till tomorrow
Also typo it was Francis of the Filth not the other way around it was written filthyfrank i wrote it as a joke but i did read it and was enjoyable

I have this copy of Moby Dick which i used to carry in my bag when i was doing my diploma and i never took it out of my bag in class but used to read it during lunch time in some corner of the campus it did give me attention from girls who said they also "read" all of them lied most had atmost 2 books one of them was self-help bullshit and other was some iteration of richdad poor dad
I also tried reading during long distance travel on trains but it is even more difficult as you get constantly interrupted by vendors and other people who just can't mind their own business
But if you want to get a GF in college reading books in public will get you plenty attention if you are atleast average looking

Yes there’s a manga too, but the manga makes the story look like some horror creepy thing. It’s more nihilistic. I like Junji Ito but it’s quite insensitive for him to take the autobiography of a man (who wrote it before killing himself) and make it into a horror manga kek

is it worth getting into reading? After reading 100 pages, maybe you will get 10 pages worth of stuff. Since, I have better hobbies, I will be getting into reading just for better understanding but for that I can just read and browser internet and let my analytical mind work
