That old looking shop is worth multi crores bhai, all due to locality, it's the old city area - main market, erstwhile royal buildings which are now DM and collector offices are are all nearby.

Also as I already said they also have a modern McMansion tier shop in other part of city.

A ration store which was almost 15-20 yr old is now a supermarket chain. The owner bought a ferrari and an Urus. Business is brutal. It used to be a small ration store then.

It's possible that bank walas are after them but still they are just too established to play the unnecessary expansion game, thay have just 2 shops, this old one and other new one, despite 80% of their business happens at their old shop, that's also where they do the cooking.

I know them, my family were regular customer since before I was born.

Also their children studied in the same school my mother is a teacher at (it's a rich fag school), infact my mother was their class teacher last year.

Funny thing - the princesses of erstwhile Baroda state study in the same school (my mother taught in their class too) it was the Maharaja that helped the sharma brothers set up their business 150+ years ago, and today their descendants study in the same school.
