The IP address stuff should warrant an instant ban for OP tbh, it is glowy on unimaginable levels and also this is exactly how many doxxes happen (mods/users suddenly get access to IPs and doxxes start happening)

Doxxing is a strenuous work. With just ips you can get the idea of the location of the user roughly and their posting habits. Then you connect dots and follow up with each of their posts. And if you're Lucky enough to find the user coherent with all the info he spews, you finally doxx him.
There's a very slim chance of it actually happening btw.
