Just observe the percentages. In every indian state caste population distribution follows roughly the same percentages. Our ancestors figured it all out in ancient times. They realized some people are born unfortunate and some are 'gifted' (due to previous karma as they believed). The intellectuals decided that unfortunate ones still deserved a place in society and right to life so they were given the least cognitively challenging tasks.
As discussed in the very first chapter of 'The Bell Curve' the further democratization of knowledge and equal access to resources will only further dumb down the already stastically lower iq SCs. The small percentage of SCs who fall on rightmost end of curve will make it out and disconnect themselves from other SCs as they mingle more with UCs. Ultimately you will be left with a section of population that will form a low iq underclass.

They still had a place in social structure back then. There were roles that they could fill. But now with our post industrial society jobs have become more cognitively demanding. People on the leftmost end of curve are doomed to be poor and umemployable. Affirmative action attacks the symptoms by forcing equality but the root cause remains untreated.

i’ve noticed that countries with less emphasis on caste, religion, and other ethnic divisions tend to develop way faster. they focus on growth without getting emotionally tangled in every little thing. our country, on the other hand, gets stuck in endless debates about faith, identity, and culture every time someone tries to do something good. imagine someone wants to build solid infrastructure (roads, bridges, etc), but suddenly there’s a temple, mosque, church, or gurudwara in the way, and the entire project just stalls. the problem isn’t the presence of religion, it’s how everything gets politicized or emotionally charged because of it. development shouldn't have to go through cultural approval first. if every decision has to be filtered through a lens of tradition or sentiment, we’re just slowing ourselves down big time

thats the real problem that the modern Hindu society faces right now. Free intermingling of various groups would only lead to an overall decrease in the population on the right-hand side of the bell curve. Its mostly the mid-right section of the curve that will see an increase in population. Which means that we will have more number of "fairly intelligent" people overall but lesser number of "exceptionally intelligent" people. And its the "exceptionally intelligent" people who are responsible for defining new eras and making biggest contributions to humanity.
Any breeding that is anti-elitistic is simply dysgenic on a large scale.

Its gross oversimplification. Countries develop due to a combination of good leadership and historical, geographical and population iq factors. Liberal attitudes are the byproduct of development and prosperity not the other way around. And india is a very low crime developed and politically stable country by global standards despite the colonial past, internal diversity and problems which is precisely because average iq is likely high enough to maintain civility as shown by history.

The intermingling is not happening freely. It is all discussed in the very first chapter of The Bell Curve. If anything more egalitarian policies will further amplify the genetic factor as environmental factors are diminished. There are low iq people among UCs though in statistically smaller numbers than low iq individuals among SCs. Egalitarian policies will push this low iq UC section to the bottom while uplifting the small section of higher iq SCs further amplifying the genetic variable as the environmental variable is controlled for policies. This is a massive paradox with egalitarianism.
