Not good.
This is a severe problem with Hinduism. They never care about aesthetics. Such beautiful shlokas and mantras are reduced to pot bellied middle aged aunties singing bhajans without any rhythm in a modern polio-ed looking temples.
It can be lot better , but le hecking we won't accept any aesthetically pleasing thing.

There needs to be some kind of alternative multi-disciplinary movement that reinvigorates "the being" and not strictly having to do with "devotional music". Only being innovative can this retardation be stopped with it spanning over various media to the point of not even being recognizable. But the intent is absolute.

India and jeets lack aesthetics in general, and it's a well known issue.
But in this case, the implications fall directly on the whole religion as a result, which doesn't happen simply because jeets aren't much creative and don't creative. Problem arises when they do their ugly things and represent hinduism w that. It needs to be specially countered. Maybe just make memes out of it to embarrass them. For example like we did for chappris.

yes and I fear such a movement can never be popular because that would mean compromises at all levels especially in present day, where interactions do not have the capacity to reflect and develop from thereon.
If it is to be developed, it surely would be limited to circles having a common education of art, music and ideas and a sense of the objective "truth" on how it will perpetuate,ensuring strict quality control.
It is time enough that we will see the rise of these fractured movements even if virtually unknown. It all falls in line statistically as well.
