I’m a newfag here on Bharatchan. I’ve been lurking for a few days to get the vibe, and I figured it’s about time I make a post.
So far, here’s what I’ve noticed:
The culture seems like a blend of old /b/ chaos with a heavy desi twist — memes, (indian) banter, and occasional bursts of legit discussion.
There’s a strange but oddly entertaining mix of high-effort OC and total shitposts.
Mods seem to be hands-off unless it’s something extreme — feels like a throwback in a good way.
Some anons here are way too into obscure religious and state lore, but I kinda respect the autism.
There’s definitely an undercurrent of nationalism but also self-deprecating humor — makes the place feel more alive than other boards I’ve been on.
Since I’m new here, I wanted to ask:
What are some unwritten rules or traditions I should know?
Any must-see threads or recurring jokes to watch out for?
What kind of posts are appreciated vs. instantly trashed?
How do you all deal with schizoposts and bait threads?
