the design philosophy is copied from 'The Ordinary'. But is it comparable to cetaphil ?

I've watched only positive reviews of chemical tests on youtube so far.

also as far as my personal ideology is concerned, though i dislike Yadav politics but I'll still prefer their business over Baniyas.

Why? With examples please.

Both are decent brands. Nothing great. Minimalist is mostly comparable. Only cetaphil mosturizer is better if you have serious skin issues.

Cetaphil is comparable to CeraVe. CeraVe is expensive in India due to import duties while Cetaphil has production facilities in India which makes it comparatively more affordable. In foreign both Cetaphil and CeraVe have similar prices and both are considered Good brands for serious level skincare.

I think cetaphil products are slightly better than Minimalist as it has a reputation for purity (since the standards are set very low by Indian government, its hard to outrightly believe newer brans like Minimalist). But Minimalist is slightly cheaper than Cetaphil so that makes up for it.

In my opinion if you are a long time user of Cetaphil or similar high end brands (according to Indian market) then you should buy the smallest bottles of Minimalist to test them by replacing one product at a time from your daily skin care routine. If it works fine for you then you may consider switching to larger bottles (relatively cheaper) and completely replace your Cetaphil products.

Also, we don't know for how long Minimalist brand is going to retain its 'purity', while cetaphil is a tested brand know for its premium products.

Also its a very private opinion of mine that middle class Indian Males shouldn't invest too much on fancy cleansers/face washes and simply buy the regular facewashes (like everyouth himalaya, patanjali, garnier etc) available in market.

Rather, they should invest in a good quality moisturizer instead and focus on abstaining from consuming junk/oily foods.

here the logic is simple, the duration of contact between your skin and facewash is very small as compared to moisturizer.

Also washing face 2 times a day (which is very important) will make premium face wash/cleansers even less affordable.

Sensible opinion.

Personally use cold pressed coconut oil. Works really well.

It's good, I use it myself and mog thousands in my vicinity, but Cetaphil is just better.

Agreed tbh, but even good skin needs care from sun and pollution, most things in the India will kill other races for simply existing here. We give up our pheno for surviving here.
