Let me share this funny account. When the Spanish were conquering american territories in the 16th century, a part of them got lost alone with one Moroccan slave. The lost faction lived among the native Americans for 3 to four years and learn their language and culture. The natives thought the lost people had some divine healing power, and they praised them. Eventually they traveled to the west coast where the lost faction found another group of Spanish. SO they went back to Spain.

So the Moroccan slave was taken back too along w them. But he had become a great communicator.

Seeing how resourceful he was, he was sent again to the americas by the Spanish. The natives however (natives from another region than that they had interacted with) were however hostile. So the Moroccan slave said that

And the funny thing is they, natives said
