Yaaro, do you read/watch death game animanga? Which one's your favorite? Mine's Gantz. It's so kino, and it was my first ever seinen manga too. It's still my #1 manga of all time. Unfortunately, the anime adaptation wasn't up to the mark :/

where players are forced to participate in a competition or anything involving a lot of people to achieve some tasks. if they fail these tasks, the consequences would be worse than death. something like squid game (even this show was a second hand ripped off of battle royale)

Ahhh, I get what you mean, then Rokka no Yusha is my go to choice. Simply loved how all of the different character treaded arround each other.
