just completed it, great anime solid 9/10 experience. nothing extraordinary in ending but it was well delivered.

Tezuka sensei was in a long time argument over either men or women being responsible for the creation of the manga, and Japan being the relatively gynocentric nation outside it's laws regarding the consent wanted to give credit to women, however tezuka refused to budge from it.
This is actually one of the important factors that went on to shape how manga industry developed rather than it becoming watered down and the Japanese version of slop medium that became of western animated series.
This has went on to make sure written work like berserk do not get targeted by angry female mobile as it is done in west, untill 2025 where series like cheat slayer got pretty much wiped out of existence before it should breath. A part of it can be credited to how much was taken away from the story. Dororo blends the pre edo period with 72 Goetia concept rather than the traditional yao guai / yokai concept. As a result the actually story is meant to habe the entire 72 demons from christian origins.
Unfortunately due to the animation taking the direction in much more different direction in art style compared to the original work by tetsu, it had both creative and budget based limits. It is unfortunate they didn't give it another remake.
