There is a certain aesthetic/vibe from the time period between the 80s to the early 2000s that is so captivating.
I dont mean the art style. I mean the music (especially j pop from that time), depiction of the early internet before it became mainstream, the overall atmosphere, it is kinda hard to explain. It is just so cozy and makes me nostalgic for an era I havent even lived in.
The only anime/media i have seen so far that embodies this is steins gate, persona and neon genesis evangelion, especially its theme(cruel angels thesis).
So is there any anime that you can recommend which would fit in this vibe?

We both are on the same page actually, what you just described is anemoia. The extremely difficult to explain feeling involving a time you feel like you lived in, even if didn't exist for you. We may picture this visual ever so slightly different but the gist is pretty similar. You named most of the quintessential titles like Steins; and NGE and Persona (P3FES to be specific). A few other come to mind like School Days (the original eroge btw) and TWEWY on the Nintendo DS. Experiencing these two is crucial if you want to fully immerse yourself in the 2000s feeling.

It is basically a feeling of nostalgia for an era I havent even lived in as i said in op. Like a tribute to a bygone era, but still recent enough to be somewhat relatable to me
