They are anime meetups along with cosplay in my shitty tier 2 city. They even ran many japanese film as part of a festival with shinkaislop, akira and a few live action japanese movies running.

Not yet OP, when I was working in a UK MNC, I did have a chance, but yaar, stacy jeetas are so rare, most of them are so unironically hideous to look at. Their are some pretty ones, over all I will say, go their to be an Otaku, since you can be a pervert, everyday of your life.
