Doesn't matter. Ferm still violates his privacy by making fun of his physical attribute, needlessly being harsh to him, etc. truth is, Frieren is the only real good thing that happened to Stark ever since he left. He would have been happier over all if he went with other mages, they would have not held him back and treated him really well too as a van guard.
