These girls were allowed to go to London, a place thousands of kms away from their home and here an average 50 yeard old pajeet needs to ask permission an week prior if he wants to go to Muzzienyanpur junction with his friends to have tea, a place 500 m away from his home.
It's true isn't it? We truly have the lives of cockroaches

if you don't move out by your mid-20s they'll see you as their eternal child sirs.
I suffered from it too. Went to local kalej because my parents got emotional and shiet, I left a much better college I could have gotten in another state even though it was cheaper. They forced me to come home by 6:30 pm, everyday no matter what happened. Used to video call me every few hours to check where I was and to make sure I wasn't bunking classes and all.
It felt just like I was a small kid in school again being told what to do. Only without frens to help

Kek, absolutely true. Even today they won't allow me to go out late at night after 10 and I'm in mid 20s.

One of the good things about my parents, they let me do anything after I turned 15.
Stopped nagging me about coming home on time, letting me go to sleepovers and such,

I got my first vehicle last year when I got my father a scooter after I got a job and he gave me his old one.
Before that if I needed to go anywhere, I need to wake till night when my father came back home or beg mom for bus fees to travel in a packed bus(and walk the distance if there's no bus).

Try getting from point A to point B without a car. No public transport because that's a meme in this country. You cant.

This is a road centric soyciety. You can't get A to B without either a car or a bike. So it's more an automobile centric society.
Fortunately lundian infrastructure is too poor to build 6 lane highways everywhere like Jewsa so you don't have s speeding at 100 kmph every road like in Jewsa so you can still take your bike out.

Bike could have been fine if it wasn't for retarded drivers and 5th world tier roads

Specifically retarded drivers, i hate the damage these subhumans Chamars have done to the beautiful brands that KTM and Royal Enfield were once.
