Biggest doomer realization for me was this part like other anon points out that meeting a group of Indians whose entire goal is to just bring others down, destroy any sense of coherence. To navigate among it all.
Second was the innate defeatist attitude - but eventually bhach figured out bhosadpillar vs realist differences.
Third was yearning to build things - and it was the most hopefuel for me. Zoomies are really nice bunch amidst all the shitposts etc. Be it those working in /g/ for css styles, or supporting each other in the hours of need in /gen/ or /acd/ sometimes. Or some kino discussions in /adv/. Or alright contribs in /kala/ etc.
But when i see greater social media it is way way worse out there. Complete hivemind - in most cases i have seen better balanced outlook on bhach than rest of the places.
What i have understood so far is that unless i go complete heavy handed approach these psyops, larping will continue that's the part of the discussion - i did use heavy hand during the war discussions because i felt it was important. Rest i don't care most of the time. This is not limited to imageboard, it's worse on social media - the sim clusters are too strong, too vapid to the point they mindbreak every person there with constant bombardment of psyops.
Good way to prevent is that have serious boards, in /infra/ - people are required to be serious, same in /va/ or /dhan/. Though i can't say that fudposters won't be there or let's assume complete optimistic posters. But it reduces the noise by huge factor.
/b/ is /b/ for a reason. I do not expect it to be den of great discussions so fair nuff.
So focus is to navigate these. Among all psyoppers, fudposters there are 3 to 5 posters who genuinely post and share stuff. I know two in /sci/ atleast two in /infra/ and few in /dhan/. Not very active but they do post. /b/ is /b/.
Bhach is not very much like inch. Bhach doesn't share much of the interests in like other foreign boards. Within its soul probably i find closer links with likes of east asian - especially japanese imageboards.
I felt that maybe if i probably create a motto of sorts for serious boards. We can have a clear direction. Without clear direction place goes into chaos. Bhach will never be like old inch, it will have some elements but that's it. It will never be like western imageboards or follow their culture other than few diffusion. But i have no proof of it except that time will tell on this - i have been active here since more than 1.5 years almost now - i have seen it firsthand.
