yaar he is blaady lying cause he must be talking about blaady GDS where they blaady let people in thru sifarish and in da merit list shows everyone to have scored more than 97% (gen) who got the jaab. Like yea a guy scoring 97% is gonna apply for it.
It doesn't pay 60kpm but last I checked it wuzz like under 10 k or maybe 15k at max.

back in da day all boomers gen x and millenials (90%) of them got in thru sifarish even ias babus and army affsars. watch a few army podcasts and they will tell you how they did sifarish and begged a fren at london to just sit for the exam.

Yaaaar no one in my family has sarkaari jaab.
BUT! My tai (aunt) was given a sarkaari jaab on sifaarish by my dada who worked in the education department at that time.
She became a sarkari teacher and retired as a headmistress with a huge salary and pension. Both of her kids are now living in Kanedda.
Meanwhile my family is full of gareebs.
Due to favouritism, my dada never gave a sifarish for my baap-maa who are also well educated and both of them stayed wagies in private jaabs and eventually became jaabless after corona, with no savings. No place hires them now because of age related issues. Now I'm the only earner in my house in private jaab with 20k salary. Meanwhile my cousins are enjoying their laife in Kanedda.

how does one join GDS?
I am a nalayak who only scored 7.6 CGPA in 10th and they only recruit by 10th scores from what I understand.

Then they also used to recruit post affise staff thru ssc mts chsl and cgl if I am right. I didn't venture ito this cause I wasn't sitting for theese exams and unless you were prepping for bank ssc having knowledge about these exams were useless cause state syllabus differs vastly from central ssc typesunless you were focused on the lower level state exams like constable and clerical of your state only then it would be worth it to also sit for lower level department wise exams.
Earlier than that they used top recruit postal staff on a fairly regular basis.
How did this pajeet get into it? was it GDS thru corruption and then there is an internal exam and if internal exam is anythang (even for state civil and union civil services group a ones) they are corrupt and you have ample amount of taime to cheat your way thru it and also there exists the possibility of someone you kno or could pay off to help your promotion. cause gds is a blaady contractual jaab and contractual jaab people were treated as coolies in most cases so it wasn't worth it to go that route specially at a taime when there are services that actually conducts exams free of corruption relatively speaking. Looking at it naw, it would be better to go thru that contractual coolie route like it habbens in municipal corporations an stuff. dmamit yaar, I am again feeling the good ol bochi screeching right naw looking back how I raped my own laife like blaaaady.

yaar but there are no teacher recruitment nawadays unless you come from a really good state or those central level teacher exams. And pension only exists in state services that too in non bhajpa ruled states like the sauth ones maybe idk.
Nawadays even police affsars can't hook up their son their own blaady son even using money in a constable or a SI post because of high competition in the bribe market. I see so many police affsar and municipal corporation affsar or hell blaady state pcs affsars who are sitting like me, blaady unemployed. blaady how can they not hook their ones up? Blaady it should have been a research project of our baaps on how they can hook us up but nyooooooo. like blaady.

His only jaab was to turn the tubewell on and aaff thrice a day.
At the time of filing the affidavit for income and liabilities for the case, I came to know that he earns 70,000 a month.
Yes. 70,000 blaady rupees for turning a handpump on and aaf 3 times a day.
