Those werent even full fledged mongol invasions. More like reconnaissance troops and raiding parties of Chagatai Khanate one of the breakaway states the empire. There was a war of succession going on between Kublai Khan and Ariq Boke at the time and the Khanates were too busy in civil war for further expansion. India would have been easy for mongols to conquer if it got conquered by turks. Mongols were baap of turks in horse archery.

Three mongol invasions on delhi sultanate occured. In this war Khilji fought one near Delhi but other two were won by Indian muslim generals. One battle was fought in Rajasthan which were won by mewari/marwaris. Another was fought in bengal and north east won by the locals there. I don't know why everyone credits khilji with it.

Khiljis general resisted full fledged mongol invasion of 50,000 to 100,000 mongols. Rajputa and bengals thwarted a raid 10-20k and 5-10k. Khilji had 3 invasion ending in 1st retreated 2nd withdrawal and 3rd crushed.

Exaggerated numbers by Delhi chroniclers. Chagatai khanate was the only one launching the raids not a unified mongol empire. Those numbers are greater than the highest estimate of Chagatai khanate army size not to mention that chagatai khanate at the time was engaged in civil war fracturing the mongol empire.
