nothing. debian just werks. like literally gets out of the way of the user.

useful stuff karna hai to just do what you are studying, fun karna hai to install meme loonix pkgs like pipes cava cmatrix cbonsai cowsay lolcat and shieee. tho i wont recommend coz you ll grow out really fast. there are MANY just pkgs and loonix easter eggs. just ask chudGPT.
debian is the only distro i have liked other than arch. good choice anon.
are you into terminal based programs tho ?? i dont use any GUI except browser maybe.

The only partitions I make are efi boot, boot, swap and root, you dont need to make anything else

yaar im not into tech either and can barely do basic operator programming, heres the thing you dont need to do any, you just need to follow manuals and fetch answers from the internet, editing dot files is no different from writing a word file
