I don't know anything about Stranger Things, but my gf used to watch it religiously. Even she hates Kali and calls her annoying. Apparently she was made to be an unlikable character that gets redeemed (pun intended) at the end. The actress also sucks at acting and has a flat delivery according to what my gf told me.
