When they cant even get admission in BSc Physics? I once wanted to switch to non medical after passing 12th with medical but couldnt. What tf was even the point of studying when it ended up not being useful for me in that situation?

Anon, you need to understand that these lundian meme exams are elimination games, not selection games. The physics in NEET has literally 0 (ZERO) purpose for a doctor. Chemistry Biology is necessary but the physics is solely there to eliminate students.
Until now the paper of physics in NEET used to come easy (watch all those PW edits, physics mera notes se hi ayega etc etc) but in 2025 they put actually somewhat tricky NEET paper.
This same humiliation ritual happens in JEE advanced. The Chemistry is there solely to filter people out.
These exams filter/eliminate, not select. There might be some kid who is quiet good in math (but not good enough to go to the IMO/INMO) but absolutely struggles in Chemistry to get into an IIT, so in india he remains a failure, whereas in west he would have maximised on this mathematical ability of his . The IITs offer direct admission only to IMO/INMO people but very few of them actually go to IITs.
Same for NEET. The physics is a humiliation elimination ritual, there are too many pajeets, too few seats

A minimum IQ is required to become a doctor, that's why

Adding to this, the indian meme exam culture of grindcelling is why we can't do productive work in STEM.
A German on discord once told me that a genius in Germany gets to higher education easily with minimal effort, so his mind and stamina remains fresh to do actual productive work. In india if you are gifted in math/physics and struggle in chemistry (or gifted in chemistry but struggle in jee type math) you will have to grind the subject you dislike, and by the time you reach 22-25, the age when you are supposed to actually burn yourself and your abilities, you are already drained.

Then have a damn iq test. These competitive exams arent as g loaded as you think. They rely heavily on prior tedious studying/training by solving DPPs like a mindless drone. Thats what jeetlets do for 10hrs a day for two years after 10th.

India has a large population, so competition is high, and finding a job and securing the future is is the priority

>India has a large population, so competition is high.
Thats not the real problem. South korea, taiwan, singapore have higher population density than india. Job creation is a function of per capita economy not absolute population size.

Well iq does matter but grindcelling is the most important thing for these jeet tests. A real iq test doesnt need you to grind for 10hrs a day for 2 years which is what makes an actual iq test g loaded. I can consistenly score in high 120s without any prior prep on multiple novel tests. Thats what makes iq tests reliable. I am not even complaining about the meme exams selection process. What i have issue with is inflexibility in our education system that doesnt allow switching and locks you on a path at the age of 15 years.

If you have 100+IQ you can easily get under 100 AIR in JEE by grinding a lot.
JEE solely tests grinding, same for NEET

JEE is pretty easy but I wouldn't guarantee <100 AIR unless you were born lucky. Even <500 for that matter
