When i was a kid, we got bible from the nearby school. It was a small bible and bought it in my home and parents placed it beside other religious scriptures in the Temple.

when i was in skewl my neighbours were a British family (not rich or expats, they were middle class ) who'd moved to mumbai for work. They gave me a children's copy of the Bible that they used to read their kids to for bedtime. i still remember them and their kids

I once got a Vighnaharta Ganesha idol from a friend in middle school. I was really into that Bal Ganesh movie back then kek, so I kept it with me until he eventually asked for it back. What I don't get is how people from Abrahamic religions constantly try to vilify others just because muh monotheism is the truth. They label idol worship as pagan, brand those religions as inferior or immoral and think that's somehow enlightened. They always nag and try to moral police how their religion is better. It's really annoying and makes no sense to me.

This is interesting the stark contrast with polytheistic civilizations and monotheistics.
Greeks and Hindus interacting would have been interesting, finding parallels between their gods. Then there's abrahamics desert spawns. The lost of greek and roman gods is a tragedy, same with what happened with britons.

Telugu christ fags used to live with us on the same floor , during Christmas they gifted us cake and pocket bible and we took it gracefully, then one day when my mom was lighting agarbathi for the sun , they started complaining that this is bad and they don't want us to do this when they are present. From then on I sort of had this hatred against abrahmics and their stoopid religion
Next year during Christmas, entire group of these bhangis came at 2 am and started singing, as revenge we opened 9xm and started blasting songs, during their entire song "shiela ki jawani" was being played. Take that christfags.
