One of the HR girl called me and asked me how many years of experience in customer service I got. I said no mam I am an engineering graduate and my last job was as asst. professor and that I'm looking for backend and data analysis like roles and not customer service. She said she'll contact me in case there are any suitable roles in future and hung up. Conversation didn't even last for a minute and 20 seconds I spent asking who the fuck it is and why they are calling me.
All this for customer care job. I feel horrible.
